My critical edition of Robert Penn Warren’s book-length poem includes extensive textual collations and emendations, comparing the various drafts of the 1953 and 1979 editions of the poem. Textual collations and emendations are of limited interest to the general reader, so in order to make my edition more affordable (especially since there are more than a hundred pages of collations) I have removed them from the print edition (when it appears) and posted them here:
