Book of the Month

I’ve been trying to promote A Moment’s Surrender through review sites and book blogs. One book blog, Sandra’s Book Club, has chosen my book to be its book-of-the-month for May.

Hi John, I clicked on the ‘Comment’ button and was amused to see the note saying, “Please send me a singed copy with an invoice”. Does that mean that the book will arrive slightly toasted?

I haven’t finished reading it yet, but I have enjoyed what I have read so far!

    John— That’s great. Congrats!

I’ve been disappointed and frustrated by the lack of coverage on the Benezet book. What there is has been excellent, but it’s sparse.Talks at various Quaker venues have been gratifying. More set up for the fall in Philadelphia. But the general appetite for antii-racism is apparently limited. A little surprising, given this administration’s attacks on voting rights, etc. Disgraceful.

Hope you’re adjusting well to change of life.

    Regards,

    David

    Dear John,

THIS IS GREAT! WILL YOU BE DOING ANY READINGS IN BOSTON/CAMBRIDGE? I AM EMIGRATING AT THE END OF MAY AND WOULD REALLY LIKE TO SEE YOU.

                                                             Peace,

    Hi John,

And congratulations on this nice turn of events. You are finding readers now, and I think you will be finding a lot more as word about your novel spreads! I am glad, because I like the book so much myself.

    As ever, Steve
